How to prepare for your building

access
To ensure a smooth delivery of your building, it's essential to assess access to your property when you place your order. If there are any potential issues, please inform us so we can arrange a visit before the delivery day and prior to manufacturing the building. Below, you'll find important information to consider and share with us to facilitate a seamless process.
Checklist for Access
Height Restrictions & Tight Turns
Such as:
Door canopy over your front door down the side of the access.
Bar across top of gate
Rose Arches
Brick Arches

Tight turns will be an issue for long panels.
Distance to Carry
.. of no more than 50 metres
.. of no more than 20 steps up or down.

We may need to add more men on the delivery day, so let us know or you could risk delaying your delivery.
No through access
If it has to go through the house please consider that there'll be:
tighter doorways
internal height restriction

We'll need to visit before we manufacture the shed. On day of delivery please ensure the walk way is clear and you have protected any fragile surfaces.
Over the wall
We can move a shed over a wall should there be limited access. We'll need to be informed when you place the order.

Failure to notify us will incur an additional fee on delivery day. Something we always like to avoid.
Through neighbours garden
It is your responsibility to liaise with the neighbour that we have permission to access their property to install the building into yours.

We'll always ensure we take any rubbish with us and tidy up after installation.
Permits to Park
Some areas require permits to park. To avoid us getting any fines, and passing them onto you. we will need to be notified of this when you place the order to give us adequate time to sort.

While we don’t undertake base preparation, we can advise on what is needed to ensure a stable and durable shed base. Acceptable Bases
Over the years, we've encountered a variety of bases, giving us valuable insights into what works best for different sized buildings. While we can provide guidance on your base selection, remember that a solid, level foundation is crucial to ensure your building stands strong for many years to come.
Layer of turf taken away, weed membrane, slabs placed, sub base.
Large 6x2 sub base
Shuttering to the size of the building floor (Check with us this size) then concrete slab.
Sleepers laid and back filled in.
Layer of slabs installed. Then Sub base to raise the
Large Concrete slab in place and area cut for water to run away. Wood is the floor size of the building.
Layer of turf away, shuttering, membrane, stone to dust and wacker plate down.

Concrete base done to the size of the building. Perfect if you have opted to have no floor.

They can pretty much build anything to your specification obviously depending on budget. They were cheaper than other quotes from Swansea/Neath area.
